Budd played the Shoemaker in the 1915 variety show "A Pair of Spectacles."  The Archives contains this artifact of the Dramatic Society production.

Budd's role as Stable boy in the Dramatic Society's presentation of "The Man on the Box" receieved a nod in the Acta Diurna's coverage. W. I. Zabriskie's role as Clara is also mentioned in the piece
