Janus

The Yearbook editors named 1968 the Janus year for Trinity. With impending new construction, leaders looked forward to strengthened foundations for an institution on the brink of celebrating 260 years of education in New York City. The Trinity community looked to the past for inspiration and to the future with anticipation.

Discussions of what lay ahead included the school's dress code, coeducation, and a new footprint on the Upper West Side.  Students were inspired, often incited, by the political and social climate locally, nationally, and internationally.
