First Runner-up: 1947 Yearbook

The 1947 theme is based on illustrations by James Tertius deKay ('47), aka "The Deacon." The distinctive illustartions were used in the endpapers and each section of the book is deliniated by striking figures drawn by "The Deacon." We love how the choice of typeface, demonstrated in our sampling of the sections posted here, compliments the illustration style.
